The PRESTIGE Sweater is inspired by the old cycling jerseys of the first riders of the Tour de France who wrote the cycling legends from 1910 to 1925 that still make us dream.
In the Pyrenean passes of the 1913 Tour de France, the unfortunate Eugène Christophe broke his fork on the descent of the Tourmalet and had to repair it himself without the assistance of a third party in the forge of Sainte Marie de Campan: this story remains one of the greatest legends of the Tour de France and international cycling.
The old cycling jersey was a sweater with a chimney collar, a chest pocket and two back pockets: these pockets allowed them to take with them the material for repairs and supplies to complete their fabulous journeys.
Indeed, Palmarès has opted for Made In France (MIF), in this case, a Tarnese factory with French know-how (label Origine France Garantie) and close to the Palmarès head office.
Thus, our sweater contributes to the preservation of local know-how and employment in our territory.
The chimney collar that you can always leave closed when putting it on and taking it off gives you the warmth of a turtleneck that doesn't tighten your neck too much and is very pleasant in winter weather.
