The POLO EILEEN is inspired by the EILEEN SHERIDAN jersey.
In all, between 1945 and 1955, it broke 21 city to city distance records.
In 1950 she was the first cyclist hired by a HERCULES bike brand with a professional contract to set long distance records.
She was thus publicised by her employer, newspapers and television: she was one of the first champions to benefit from an advertising contract to promote a brand and therefore precisely the Herculean bicycles during all her exploits and records.
Many of them lasted for decades, some of them until the end of the century, and a few, such as London-Liverpool and London-Edinburgh, are still relevant today.
This very original EILEEN polo shirt is entirely made in France and more precisely in the Tarn: we have selected one of the last textile workshops in the South of the Tarn and the Occitanie region to make this very elaborate polo shirt.
We therefore produce in short circuit by highlighting all this textile know-how and beautiful sewing which has been one of the jewels of the industry in our territory in the past.
Thus our short-circuit production contributes to our philosophy of preserving the environment.
