The CHERIE blouse is inspired by the EILEEN SHERIDAN jersey.
Between 1945 and 1955, she broke 21 city to city distance records.
In 1950 she was the first cyclist hired by a HERCULES bike brand with a professional contract to set long distance records.
Thus she was publicized by her employer, newspapers and television: she is one of the first champions to benefit from an advertising contract to promote a brand and thus precisely HERCULES bicycles during all her exploits and records.
Many of them lasted for decades, some of them until the end of the century, and a few, such as London-Liverpool and London-Edinburgh, are still relevant today.
MADE IN OCCITANIA AND SHORT CIRCUIT
This very original CHERIE blouse is entirely woven and made in France and more precisely in the Tarn.
A factory in Castres wove our fabric in warp and weft 100% linen.
Then we selected one of the last textile workshops in the south of the Tarn and the Occitanie region to make this very elaborate blouse.
We therefore produce in short circuit to highlight all this textile know-how and beautiful sewing which has been one of the jewels of the industry in our territory in the past.
Thus our short-circuit production contributes to our philosophy of preserving the environment.
The 100% linen warp and weft is very light and has a soft, fresh and pleasant feel in contact with the skin.
This warp and weft 100% linen which is a noble material gives a very interesting lead to this blouse so that it gives off class and sobriety.
The voluminous and non-imposing collar presents all its originality both on its front and on its back: this Chérie collar brings all the graceful cachet to this blouse.
