The HERITAGE polo shirt is inspired by the first racers wearing inner tubes on their old cycling jerseys, those famous racers who are the heroes of the first section of the history of cycling.
The rules of racing at the beginning of the 20th century and the Tours de France stipulated that every rider had to repair any damage alone without the help of another person.
For the first riders, they wrapped inner tubes around their shoulders. It was the time of tyres and then the advent of tubulars around the 25's. The first riders had the first tubes around their shoulders.
Palmarès has chosen to produce this top-of-the-range HÉRITAGE polo shirt in Portugal by choosing recognized manufacturers who respect quality standards (production and environment).
100% PGM cotton (mercerised gassed combed) represents the cotton used in luxury textiles; it offers a very soft, silky touch and a luminous shine.
The embroidery of the emblem on the left sleeve, which faithfully reproduces our 1920s climber (as a dancer, the two cans on the handlebars, the inner tubes on his shoulders and the glasses thrown on the cap) brings a very fine signature to this piece.
The Palmarès silkscreens and the gut on the front give elegance and characteristic design to the HÉRITAGE polo.
The Palmarès buttons are engraved and the neck button is a specific replica of the old cycling jerseys of the 1950's which gives a unique, authentic side and defines the "vintage cycling jerseys" fashion.
